#12 Jerod Evans named CIF Offensive Player of the Week

We're proud to announce that Salina Liberty quarterback Jerod Evans has been named the offensive player of week 1. Jerod led the Liberty to victory over the Topeka Tropics. He was 13-18 with 155 yards passing and 6 yards rushing. He passed for 4 touchdowns and ran for 1 touchdown.

The Liberty had a decisive win over the Tropics with a final score of 75 to 45.

The Salina Liberty plays the next month on the road, beginning this weekend with a trip to Sioux City to take on the Bandits.
